Wearable Art/Performance

In the early 1980's in Los Angeles there was a club/performance scene that flamboyantly pushed the borders of 'wearable art', sculpture, sound performance, and gala. Working with Carol Booten, who was my co-hort at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) , we produced, performed and arranged an array of strange hybrid happenings. Often, like the Checkpoint Charlie work, they were related to concurrent paintings.
